Only 35% of 18-35 year olds turned out to vote in the last Federal election. Youth in Canada account for over 3 million votes – amazing amount of power if we simply chose to use it. In our last ‘Get What you Want – Vote’ campaign we asked youth what they wanted. Here are some of the common themes that came up: better environment, affordable housing, affirmative action on the Peel Water Shed, and affordable post-secondary education.
