10th anniversary

year in review

This is a compilation of the articles, posters, pamphlets, and manuals that were written about and for BYTE this year. It’s our tenth year anniversary in review, and it’s up in our office if you would like a closer look.

We’re 10!!! A big thank you goes out to our founder Nicole Edwards and numerous groups of dedicated youth. The first crew’s energy created the Yukon Youth Conference in 1998, entitledYouth Plan To Take Over The World”. Youth gathered and identified a strong need to create an organization guided by youth ideas, plans and initiatives. Thus, in May 1999, B.Y.T.E. was born. From the beginning, B.Y.T.E. has involved youth in every step of the decision-making process and has grown into a national program over the past 10 years. We have also always worked in partnership with a myriad of local businesses, governments, service providers, and fellow non-profit groups. B.Y.T.E. has become a leading advocate for youth issues and programs in the Yukon Territory.
