Energizers
1 person is it, they stand in the centre. Everyone else stands on one side of the room. The person “it” calls out a way to move: skip, jump, hop, crawl, etc. The people must make their way to the other side of the room moving in that way. They person “it” must also move in the way said.

Suitcase Relay:
This is crazy. Have a bunch of suitcases (2 or 3) stuffed with different articles of clothing (make them funny). Then set up teams for a relay races (again 2 or 3 depending on the number of cases). In the race one team member must run to one side of the room, open the case and put on all the clothes, run back and take off the clothes putting them back into the case and hand it off to the next teammate. Super fun!

Stop, Turn, Jump, Spin:
Start walking around in the circle. Yell out commands: Stop, Jump, Turn or Spin.
Stop = Freeze in place until you say go
Jump = Jump and then Freeze
Turn = Turn 180 degrees and Freeze
Spin = Jump and turn 360 degrees and the freeze
If people move or fall then they are out and they become the person to call out.

Rhythm Machine:
Someone starts in the centre of the circle making an action and a sound that accompanies that action. As people get ideas they can go into the centre and add to the machine with their own action and sound. When everyone is in use different verbs such as:
“The machine is speeding up”
“Slowing down”
“stopping”
This a fun game to do with people who are already pretty warmed up and comfortable.

What are you doing?:
Someone walks into the circle an starts doing an action. For example mowing the lawn. Then someone else comes in asks the first person “What are you doing?”. The person says something completely unrelated what they are actually doing. For example, if you are mowing the lawn you would say: “brushing my teeth”. The first person then leaves the centre and the second person takes up the action the first person has said (they would start brushing their teeth). This continues with everyone in the circle going in whenever they feel the impulse. (Make it change rather rapidly).

Elbow to Knee:
Explain that everyone is going to be walking around the room. You will then call out two body parts and they have to quickly find a partner and have those two body parts touch each other (do an example with someone using elbow to knee). Then start the game. If you can’t find somebody to partner with or don’t attach the right body parts, your out. As people are kicked out make them the ones to call out two body parts. This is a fun crazy game. Keep it safe!
