So what exactly is a zine, you ask? Basically it’s a photocopied chapbook with a lo-fi, rough-around-the-edges look that’s filled to the brim with art and musings. The a do-it-yourself mag is a venue for young people to express themselves how they wanna, uncensored and bursting with mad style. By encouraging youth to be the media rather than fall prey to it, the Toxic Blend is a refreshing document of young writers and artists that dare to speak their minds.
