Executive Director – Rachel Parks came to B.Y.T.E. in October 2006 with a University background in education, the environment and social science. She also joined us with extensive youth work experience, managerial experience, and office administration. Event’s Coordinator– Ashley Camara joined the B.Y.T.E. team in September 2007. She has an impressive background in journalism, networking, freelance photography, managing performers, organizing events, and getting active on causes that really matter to her. Conference Co-coordinator & Radio Programmer - Adam Pope
Adam Pope has grown up in Whitehorse and has a deep connection to the youth and the greater Yukon community. He is a great example of the effects of the B.Y.T.E conference. He is quoted in saying, “the youth conference changed my life.” Years after attending the conference as a participant, he has now joined the team of B.Y.T.E to put it on. Office Assistant - Meredith Winkelaar
Meredith has come to us from Thunder Bay Ontario where she has just completed her Outdoor Recreation Parks and Tourism Degree. She has a deep sense of environmental awareness and loves running, camping, and horses. Meredith is always up for anything and is a real asset to have around the office. Meredith has been helping with proposals, filing, organizing, and making sure everyone is in good spirits.

Youth Program Coordinator - James Roddick
James is a St.Francis Xavier University student who grew up here in the Yukon attending F.H. Collins and Vanier. He comes to us with an extensive background in team building exercises, leadership facilitation, and outdoor recreational pursuits. He has a ton of energy and enthusiasm that he contributes to our team and is very personable. He’s with us for the summer and we’re all really excited to get to know him better!
